The wait is over!! Florida indy hip hop veterans RED TIDE have released a new project. The "Fear & Loathing" EP offers a taste of the upcoming full length album from the boys. Lyrically poetic, radically forward thinking, this six song EP is nothing less than a statement of purpose and a call to arms for every hip hop head who has tired of the sameness and crass commercialism that has blanketed the mainstream for far too long. Red Tide ride the crest of hip hop's new wave. Abandoning tired cliches, rejecting recycled concepts and uninteresting production: B.C., Skoolz, 2% and Lazy offer both a look back and a glimpse into the future. While the more close-minded denizens of the underground rally the wagons 'round dubious ideals like "purism," Red Tide acts as music's true vanguard, patently ignoring any and all sonic segregation to mine precious jewels heretofore unknown.
